About DemoAnalytics
Turning public-sector data into clear, actionable insights for communities, planners, and decision-makers.

About Chuck Brown
I’m a data analyst and planning professional with experience spanning urban and regional planning, municipal analysis, wireless land-use consulting, and public administration. My work focuses on helping public-serving organizations understand and visualize complex information through mapping, data analysis, and clear communication.
I bring a mixed background in local government administration, demographic research, zoning and land-use review, and applied GIS. I have over two decades of experience assisting nonprofit, municipal, and private-sector clients with projects ranging from demographic trend analysis to strategic planning support, fiscal impact assessments, equity assessments, and wireless infrastructure permitting.
My technical workflow centers on R (tidyverse, tidycensus), QGIS, and modern, reproducible analysis pipelines that produce maps, dashboards, and reports designed for clarity and usability.
What I Believe
Data should empower people—not overwhelm them. My goal is to translate complex information into tools that communities, leaders, and residents can actually use to make better decisions.
