Services
DemoAnalytics helps municipalities, nonprofits, consultants, and community partners turn public data into clear, decision-ready insights.
My work focuses on demographic and socioeconomic analysis, workforce and labor trends, housing conditions, and access-and-equity mapping.
Whether you need a quick snapshot for a grant or a full regional profile with GIS layers, I deliver clean data, strong visuals, and plain-language
interpretation you can use immediately.
Public Data Analysis & Community Profiling
I build profiles and trend analyses using the most widely trusted public datasets, including the American Community Survey (ACS)
and other federal, state, and local sources. Typical indicators include population change, age structure, race/ethnicity, household
characteristics, language and disability status, income and poverty, education, broadband access, and transportation constraints
(like no-vehicle households).
Outputs are structured for grant narratives, needs assessments, and planning documents—accurate, well-documented, and easy to integrate
into your work.
Workforce, Labor, and Economic Conditions
For economic development, workforce planning, and labor-focused grants, I analyze labor force participation, employment and unemployment,
earnings, commuting patterns, industry and occupation mix, and other workforce indicators. When useful, I provide equity breakouts
(e.g., by race/ethnicity, age, income, disability, LEP, or tenure) to identify disparities and target interventions.
Housing and Neighborhood Conditions
I support housing and community development projects with indicators such as tenure (owner/renter), home values and rents, vacancy,
cost burden, overcrowding, housing age, and neighborhood-level trends. These analyses are useful for consolidated plans, housing strategies,
fair housing work, and grant applications requiring clear, defensible local context.
Health, Access, and Equity Mapping (GIS)
When projects call for spatial analysis, I create publication-ready maps and GIS layers that highlight need, access, and inequity.
This includes proximity and accessibility work (services, transit, parks, health care, food access), composite indices (equity/need/access),
and integration of widely used equity datasets such as CDC SVI, CDC PLACES, USDA food access measures, and EPA EJScreen.
Deliverables can include static maps, interactive layers, and packaged GIS files (CSV, GeoPackage/GPKG) ready for your team’s use.
Deliverables You Can Use Right Away
- Cleaned datasets (CSV and/or GIS-ready files)
- Tables and charts for reports or grants
- Thematic maps and spatial layers
- Short narrative summaries or full briefs
- Optional slide decks for boards or stakeholders
Everything is documented and reproducible, so you know exactly what’s included and how it was built.
